Maiden Drilling Program at Ti Tree Completed
Silver City Minerals Ltd (‘Silver City’ or ‘the Company’) recently announced that its maiden core drilling program at the Ti Tree Project in the Northern Territory, Australia, has been successfully completed.
The Company was pleased to report that the program met all expectations, with the drilling targeting potential copper-silver mineralization identified by a review of historic drilling data. The data confirmed the presence of anomalous copper and silver values, as well as the potential for other mineralization.
The program included 8 drill holes totaling 1,820 metres, which were designed to probe the entire mineralization at depth. High-grade copper-silver mineralization was intersected in numerous core samples, with copper values ranging from 0.07 to 0.44%. These values provided further evidence that the Ti Tree deposit hosts a significant mineralized system.
Silver City’s exploration and development team will now undertake further work to refine drill targets. This will enable the Company to conduct resource estimation and potentially progress with some form of production.
The Company is now considering its next steps, including potential metallurgical test work, and expects to make an announcement soon as it looks to further optimize operations.
This successful maiden drilling program marks an important milestone for Silver City and vindicates the Company’s decision to advance exploration of the Ti Tree deposit. Silver City has already identified several additional prospects throughout the greater Ti Tree tenure, which the Company looks forward to further exploring in due course.
Overall, the Company is pleased with the results of this drilling program and is optimistic about the future development of the Ti Tree deposit. Silver City continues to explore the opportunities that this project offers and hopes to have positive news to share with investors in the near term.
