In sixth place is the Husab Mine in Namibia, owned and operated by China’s CGNPC. This open-pit mine has been producing uranium since 2017 and is capable of producing up to 5.2 million pounds of uranium each year.
The Crocker Uranium Mine in Wyoming is run by the Uranium One Group and produces up to 2.6 million pounds of uranium each year.
The Isaac Plains Mine in Queensland, Australia is another open-pit uranium mine owned by Energy Resources of Australia and produces up to 2.3 tons of uranium each year.
The Langer Heinrich Mine in Namibia, owned by Paladin Energy, produces 1.8 million pounds of uranium every year.
Finally, the Kayelekera Mine in Malawi is run by Paladin Energy and produces roughly 1.5 million pounds of uranium each year.
